The Hymettus Project
Design began in 2019 on this multi-phase project with the goal of the couple hosting their wedding in the fall of 2020. As you may have guessed, the timeline changed, but everything came together for a lovely wedding in May of 2022.
The first phase was the backyard, built by local legends Falling Waters in the beginning of 2020. The next phases were drawn out on account of the world being turned upside down. Ecology Artisans came in to do some earthworks, fruit tree clean up, and planting in the front yard. Then Falling Waters came back to work on the pathway, stairs and additional planting at the top of the property.
This was my first “real” design project where high level builders came in to execute my vision of a modern approach to watershed landscape design.
I am forever indebted to this lovely family, and the builders that made it happen.
